Spiritual Psychotherapy & Energy Psychology

Therapy with a Spiritual Focus

For some individuals, spirituality is an important part of how they understand themselves, make meaning of life experiences, and navigate periods of growth and change.

While not every client wishes to explore spirituality in therapy, others find that their emotional, psychological, and spiritual experiences are deeply interconnected. If spirituality is important to you, we can thoughtfully incorporate these conversations into our work together.

You may find yourself:

• Questioning who you are or what gives your life meaning

• Experiencing a period of significant personal transformation

• Feeling as though old ways of being no longer fit, but unsure of what comes next

• Drawn toward deeper self-discovery, mindfulness, spirituality, or personal growth

• Curious about dreams, intuition, synchronicities, or other meaningful experiences

• Longing for a greater sense of authenticity, purpose, or connection

• Feeling called toward something new, even if you cannot yet fully define it

• Seeking a deeper understanding of yourself and your life’s journey

Navigating Life’s Transitions and Transformations

Some individuals describe periods of profound change as a “dark night of the soul.” These experiences often arise following significant life events such as a breakup, divorce, health challenge, loss, career transition, or other major turning point.

During these periods, you may feel disconnected from who you once were while simultaneously not yet knowing who you are becoming. What once felt familiar may no longer fit. You may find yourself questioning long-held beliefs, relationships, priorities, or even your sense of identity.

While these experiences can feel confusing, lonely, and overwhelming, they can also become powerful opportunities for healing, growth, and transformation.

Having navigated my own periods of personal and spiritual growth, I understand how meaningful, and at times disorienting, these experiences can be. My goal is to provide a supportive space where both the psychological and spiritual aspects of your experience can be explored with curiosity, compassion, and respect.

Dreams, Meaning, and the Inner World

Many individuals discover that periods of growth are accompanied by increased attention to dreams, intuition, symbolism, creativity, synchronicities, and the deeper questions of life.

Some clients also find meaning through archetypes, imagery, creative expression, journaling, and other reflective practices that can support self-exploration and insight. These approaches can serve as invitations for curiosity, self-reflection, and a deeper understanding of your inner world.

Rather than viewing these experiences as something to be dismissed, therapy can provide a space to explore the personal meaning they may hold for you. Together, we can examine the themes, patterns, and insights that emerge as you deepen your understanding of yourself.

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT Tapping)

I also offer Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), commonly known as tapping, for clients who are interested in incorporating this approach into their work.

EFT is an evidence-informed mind-body technique that combines gentle tapping on acupressure points with focused attention on thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Research suggests that EFT may help calm the nervous system, reduce emotional distress, and support emotional regulation.

Many clients find it helpful for managing stress and anxiety, processing difficult emotions, reducing the intensity of activating experiences, and creating a greater sense of emotional balance and resilience.

EFT can be integrated into psychotherapy as a tool for supporting healing, self-awareness, and personal growth.

A Personalized Approach

Spirituality means different things to different people. For some, it may involve a religious tradition. For others, it may involve mindfulness, intuition, personal growth, nature, creativity, meaning-making, or a desire to live in greater alignment with their authentic self.

My role is not to impose any particular belief system, but rather to support you in exploring the experiences, questions, and values that are meaningful to you.

If this resonates with you, I invite you to reach out to schedule an appointment or consultation.
